Granular Activated Carbon

Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) has larger particle size as compared to the Powdered Activated Carbon. 90% of the particles are larger than 80 mesh size. Granular Activated Carbon is ideal for the adsorption of gases and vapours, especially because of their characteristic of diffusing rapidly. It can deal with most of the organic compounds. GAC is widely used for reverse osmosis pre-treatment, dechlorination, taste and odor removal, color removal etc.
